Where we began...

When Annabelle was 5-month old, although she couldn't roll or crawl, she could somehow move herself in all directions. I would place her in the centre of her playmat with lots of toys around her, then by the time I've made tea, she's gone - lying on the cold, hard floor, or banging her head against the sofa. I tried to trap her in a giant bean bag, but it's only a matter of time she figured it out.

What should I do? I thought I needed a playmat that she couldn't escape from, so the hunt began...
